ANGELS' PRIDE MONTESSORI SCHOOL
INTRODUCTION:
 Angel’s Pride is a co-educational pre-school and learning centre that admits children from ages 1 to 3 years. The school embraces children of all denominations and nationalities.

With the support of all stakeholders and God being our help, we are assured of success in all areas and in all weathers.
VISION:
The vision is to use the Montessori Principle of education to help nurture the capabilities of each child in a bid to boost real self confident personalities while training them acquire the best habits. Emphasis is therefore laid on individual instruction and the use of didactive materials in specially prepared environment under the supervision of trained instructors.
CURRICULUM:
 Numeracy (identification, counting, writing and manipulation) and Literacy (phonetics & writing) facilitated by an E-toys learning centre, drawing including colour identification and colouring as well as speech training. Extra mural activities shall include games, moral and religious education, information technology, swimming, music and dance (including choreography) and drama. The medium of Instruction is English.
SCHOOL HOURS:
The normal time is from 7:30am to 3:00pm. Morning assembly starts at 8:30 am Children must be picked up from school not later than 3:00pm. By arrangement, the closing time could be extended to 5:00pm. This however attracts an extra fee (refer to school bill).
The school remains open all year round. Nevertheless, it enjoys all public holidays including a two week break over the Christmas and New Year period.
PICKING UP CHILDREN:
Identity cards with child’s picture and details of the one responsible for picking up the child will be required/demanded at the security. In cases of emergency, please call the headmistress and arrange.

FEES:
School fees are to be settled within the first two weeks of every month. We encourage you to endeavor to settle all financial commitments within the stipulated times.
PARENT – TEACHING ASSOCIATION (PTA):
Each Parent or Guardian is a compulsory member of the PTA. It is therefore imperative that you attend and actively participate in all activities of the school as it borders primarily on the welfare of your child.
Constructive suggestions are welcome and parents are also free to meet the headmistress for any discussion.
MEALS:
Every child is to come along to school daily with a morning snack, packed balanced lunch and afternoon snack.
The following meal items are to be provided and kept in each child’s cabinet in the school.
- 1 Plastic drinking Cup with handle
- 1 Stainless desert spoon
- 2 Plastic Plates (a pair)
- 1 Plastic bowl with cover
MEDICAL CARE:
Each pupil will undergo a medical examination upon admission. This will guide us to accord appropriate attention to the needs of each child. The school’s sick bay will also provide adequate first aid and medical attention should there be a need. In cases of emergency, parents or guardians will be immediately contacted for the necessary action to be taken.
