Presently Lakeside Estate is developing its Ashale-Botwe North property which was leased from the Nungua Stool. Lakeside Estate started as a farming company called Agri-Cattle Ltd. in 1974 when their present land was obtained for farming purposes.
The change of the land-use from farming to Real Estate Development necessitated a review of the name, "Agri-Cattle" Ltd. to the present name of Agri-Cattle Lakeside Estate Ltd.
Agri-Cattle Lakeside Estate Ltd. known as Lakeside Estate for short was born into the family of Japan Motors Group of Companies. The Japan Motors Group is Celebrating its 100 year anniversary this year in 2012.
